Cultural Heritage & Indigenous Planning
Safeguard cultural heritage through informed and respectful planning practices

Through informed and respectful planning practices, we can ensure that development projects honour and protect cultural heritage, and maintain connection between communities and their ancestral lands.

Within our team, we have respected expertise in cultural heritage management and resource management policy. This includes understanding and mapping cultural landscapes, and spatial planning that supports sustainable, equitable and inclusive long-term development.

While we have particular experience relating to improving the provision for Māori, this knowledge also extends to wider indigenous heritage impact assessments and heritage evaluations within various governance and cultural settings.

Through policy and planning, we help preserve unique identities of communities and environments.

Our expertise in cultural heritage and indigenous planning can help you with:

  • Cultural heritage assessments
  • Indigenous engagement and consultation
  • Cultural impact assessments
  • Heritage management plans
  • Policy development
  • Training and capacity building
  • Community workshops and outreach
  • Collaboration with historians
  • Regulatory compliance
